I have a few Live Linux CD's (Dream Linux and Ubuntu) that i wish to boot from the UBCD4WIN. I have editing the knoppix plugin to set it up and also tried editing a few other tools to try and get it to boot the ISO file for the live cd from the dos menu in UBCD4WIN but it wont work.

Can anyone help me in getting the cd to boot these Linux Live cds?

I'll see what I can do with them if you can provide links to the downloads.

HERE'S an untested Ubuntu plugin. I'v been out of dvd's so it's only been tested it in VM's (Qemu and VPC2k7). Both VM's seem to boot ok but then come up to a garbled desktop resolution/display, maybe due to booting in a vm, maybe not.?. I'll try and get some more dvd's soon so I can actually burn it and boot it from a real machine but I'm not sure when that'll happen so I decided to just post the plugin anyway so you can try it if you want.

Extract the plugin to your \plugin\Multiboot-003\ folder and copy your Ubuntu iso image to the \plugin\Multiboot-003\ubuntu\files\ folder then either run CONFIG_UBUNTU.cmd or click "Config" from UBCD4WinBuilder.

Let me know if it works and I'll see if I can clean it up a bit and maybe add some nested sub-menus to implement a few different boot options.

UBCD 4.0.3 - There's a thread here on the forum describing how to include 4.0 (I don't know if anything changed in 4.0.3)
Ophcrack Live CD - I haven't tried it
Backtrack 2 - I have a plugin for BackTrack HERE
helix - I have a plugin for Helix but just noticed that it wasn't on my website, I'll upload in and post a link
Ubuntu - You already know where to get this one
knoppix - I have a plugin for KNOPPIX, get it HERE
nUbuntu - I haven't tried it
OS 2 Warp Live CD - I haven't tried it
SystemRescueCd - I have a plugin for SystemRescueCD, get it HERE
pfSense - I haven't tried it

You might also be interested in my GParted plugin and another one for my CUSTOM linux distro that has quite a few usefull utilities and yet it loads and runs from just 16mb ram.

I don't think the OS 2 Warp / EcomStation Demo CD - ISO will be doable with that complicated structure, but these guys may be able to do it.. It would be interesting to see this though...
cdob
Well a OS/2plugin is possible.

Expand ISO image, extract all files.
CODE
[Version]
Signature= "$Windows NT$"

[PEBuilder]
Name="!Multiboot: OS/2 Warp / EcomStation"
Enable=1

[SourceDisksFolders]
files=30000,,1

[Append]
BCDW\BCDW.INI,OS_2_bcdw.ini

OS_2_bcdw.ini
CODE
/BOOTIMGS/MEMBOOT.BIN; OS 2 Warp / EcomStation; ^ OS 2 Warp Live CD / EcomStation

OS 2 Warp menu does appear.
But "Boot with default values" fails, CD is not detected anymore: "Please insert demo CD".
Maybe EcomStation OS/2 dosn't like default UBCD4Win filesystem, that's ISO9660:1999 and Rock Ridge.

Use mkisofs -iso-level 3, but allow 207 chars at own risk: mkisofs.c
CODE
switch (iso9660_level) {
...
case 3:
  iso9660_namelen = MAX_ISONAME_V2; /* allow 207 chars */
break;

Is there a way to include ISO image files by somehow mapping the ISO file from the menu when you boot the CD?

Is there a guide on how to add ISO images to the boot menu on the UBCD4WIN?
cdob
Yes, ISO images can be added.

However only BIOS calls are supported.
First boot files does work, but Linux Live cds access cd direct. Booting fails.
