Hi folks,

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum, I wasn't sure.

I'm trying to build a Bart PE disk but I cannot see my C drive. It is in Raid and I used Via Hyperion Pro 509A last I installed windows but the problem is there are so many files in this folder I don't know exactly which ones I would need. If some one can be so kind as to guide me in the right direction I would be greatful.

I originally just put the whole folder itself on Bart and that did not work. There are two Document and Settings folders showing up under Ram Disk B drive in Bart but that's not right. My C drive is a 138gig.

The Promise FastTrack worked great with Bart, cuz I can see my other two drives.

Thank you,

Try either include files from VIA_HyperionPro*\drvdisk\i386

Or add BTS Driverpack files

I discovered there really a two step procedure with VIA.

The contents that are in the folder drvdisk has to be copied to a floppy, not the folder drvdisk itself.

You have to ad the VIA installer .exe to the drivers folder for Bart when you build the CD, but you still have to F6 the contents of drvdisk from the VIA when using Bart and I can now see my C drive.

Thanks for everything.

Actually you are both right and wrong... you are suppose to copy the files that you placed on the floppy in the folder in the manner that cdob mentioned. Your method works, but it isn't the method that is the easiest to do.

How did you include storage drivers to BartPE?

Did you follow Bart's explanation?

Did PEBuilder update txtsetup.sif and included VIA's *.sys driver?
