ok so i'm really new to bart's cd. it seems like an awesome idea.
the problem is when i make an successful ISO i can't really do too much with it.
i have even successfully installed plugins so it seems i have the plugins installed but i have no way to access them and
that is because i have to edit the menu...is this correct?
i'm thinking i'm going to have to learn some XML so i can edit my menu so i can start to use the plugins and really start cooking with gasoline.
is there a program i can use that makes it really simple so i can just drag and drop the plugins i want to use in my Menu?
that would be awesome but with my luck that probably doesn't exist.
please let me know. i'm trying to figure a lot of stuff out.

The plugins that are already created should already have an XML made so if you add the plugin properly ( according to the help files ) it should place it where the author set it up for.

Look in your [BartPE folder]\help folder there are several help folders in several languages there ... if you are wanting to learn how to create your own plugin that is were to start.

If you don't want to do all of the work yourself... look at UBCD4Win which already has a ton of utils included. UBCD4Win is based on BartPE using the OEM build of PeBuilder.

no every single time i make a bart cd and add the plugins i just get the generic menu. it always sucks and i never get the results i'm looking for. i just get like the notepad or the drawing tool or just the network which doesn't work. basically stuff that i can't use. that's why i'm trying to get my plugins to work. so you're saying that i shouldn't have to edit the menu and that if i install the plugins correctly they should get in menu automatically?

If your plugins are placed in the PLUGIN folder and you already have a proper XML... then yes they should work. Like I said... look at the help files and also the other plugins for examples.
