Download the plugin here, only three widgets are included:
Analog Clock.widget
CPU Portal.widget
Yahoo! Weather.widget
and only english and swedish language

Find the program and more widgets here
To get more languages, download the program and install it
Add any new widget to the plugin\Yahoo\files\My Widgets folder

From cd make your settings, dump the reg and include in the .inf
remember to keep paths hardcoded (B:\ not %temp%) otherwise the widgets will not load

so, a preview...

I updated the plugin, there were some issues with the weather tongue.gif
some files need to be in:
%temp%\UBCD4Win User Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo
to work properly.

Once you have made your settings remember to copy these files to the plugin before new build

Had to upgrade the plugin again (downsize it) since after reading the EULA:

QUOTE
d. Except as otherwise explicitly stated in Section 1© above with respect to Widgets, YOU MAY NOT:

(vi) sell, lease, loan, distribute, transfer, or sublicense the Software or access thereto or derive income from the use or provision of the Software, whether for direct commercial or monetary gain or otherwise, without Yahoo!'s prior, express, written permission.

and since I have no such permission...

You'll need to install the program to harddrive to get this plugin to work.
Once you have done that:

Copy the folders: "Common" and "Widgets"
from C:\Program Files\Yahoo!
put them in plugin\Yahoo\files

Copy the folder: "Widget Engine"
from C:\Documents and Settings\"User name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Yahoo
put it in plugin\Yahoo\files

Copy the folder: "My Widgets"
from C:\Documents and Settings\"User name"\My Documents\
put it in plugin\Yahoo\files

you should now have 4 folders in plugin\Yahoo\files folder

Build as usual.

If you do not like the widgets to be positioned quite so much to one side it is possible to change the size of the geoshell desktop. These settings will not affect the background image. It will also restrict the area in which windows are maximised.

The bottom and the right side values have to be negative. Sizes are in pixels.

Add this to your geoshell1.inf
CODE
[Default.AddReg]
0x1, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Desktop Bottom","-33"
0x1, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Desktop Left","10"
0x1, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Desktop Right","-10"
0x1, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Desktop Top","10"
0x4, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Hide Task Bar", 0x00000000
0x4, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Per-Monitor Desktop Areas", 0x00000000
0x4, "Software\Geo\GeoShell\Services\Desktop","Set Desktop Area", 0x00000001
