Comment out this line:
CODE
0x2, "Sherpya\XPEinit\Programs", "\CCleaner 2 Beta", "%SystemDrive%\programs\ccleaner2\ccleaner.exe"

perhaps remove the quotes from:
[SourceDisksFiles]
"ccleaner.exe"=a,,1
change to:
[SourceDisksFiles]
ccleaner.exe=a,,1

I have used your plugin and it works well. However, I would like to update ccleaner to the latest version.
What do I need to do? I note from your plugin, you only have an executable.
If one downloads the new version and installs normally in Windows, there a a number of files involved & I assume, entries are made to the registry.
Your advice would be appreciated.

You just need to replace the exe unless you are using a language other than english.
Cheers

I found the new version (2.02.527).
In program directory there is the winapp.ini.
Also the installer creates in this directory a .dll file
(lang-xxxx.dll) for any language except English.
Where xxxx the language code.
(1032 for Greek, 1031 for Deutsch, 1040 for Italiano etc)
Without unistallation every new installation for other
language creates a new .dll for this language.
So if there are some language .dll files you can select
one language with the program. (Options > Settings > Language)
In "ccleaner.inf" file add the followng section:
[Default.AddReg]
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","Language","1032"
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","WINDOW_LEFT","90"
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","WINDOW_TOP","60"
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","WINDOW_WIDTH","620"
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","WINDOW_HEIGHT","450"
0x1, "Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options","WINDOW_MAX","0"
This includes the default language of program and
the values for program appearance at center of a 800x600 screen.
Also add the lines:
files\*.dll=a,,4
files\winapp.ini=a,,1
in [SourceDisksFiles] section, if .ini and .dll files
placed in "files" directory. Otherwise remove the string: files\
The .exe file of program is the same for all languages.

The version included with UBCD4Win v3.10 is probably easier to change the language and other settings as well... run CCleaner from the files directory in the plugin folder... select Options -> Settings and just select the language you wish... as a matter of fact all of the options can be changed.

If you plan to stay with v3.06, thats your choice... but I was offering another solution to the issue of getting the latest version of CCleaner and for configuring it. Of course v3.10 also has all of the other utils updated etc as well so for many it will be the choice.

Sorry for the late reply... and perhaps it isn't needed... I was doing some development for the next release already and hadn't been back...
I guess we have a 8 Hr difference in time then... If you customize your builds much... you may want to consider using a zzz-custom folder for the changes you make. Then when a new build is released you just copy that folder over into the new plugins folder and you are good to go... thats what I do.

Hi rdsok, i sleeped up to 13.00.
Now i will install the v3.0.
Already i have a named "zzMyPlugins" directory into "plugin" directory.
But i have FAT32 disk. So i uninstall the old version move the "zzMyPlugins" directory in other
partition, install the new version and at the end copy "zzMyPlugins" directory into "plugin" directory.
So my directory is writen after all.
Thanks, you prompt me to download the new version.
Perhaps i will download it after some days.
Thanks

My registry entries (for English language):
Actually there is a newer release but it came out after v3.10 was released.
This version does not require registry entries... its the portable version and the settings are saved to the INI file instead.

CCleaner is scanning the X:\i386 drive for me...instead of C:. Is there anyway to fix this ?? I'm using an highly modified UBCD4win 3.10 version. Still I use your CCleaner plugin.

CCleaner is not available ( in the menu ) to run from a booted UBCD4Win... it is only meant to be run when booted from Windows itself.... that is what was mentioned already.
