Where can I get the slipstream program from as it is no longer available on the UBCD download page? (In fact I think nothing is available for download!)

Also, what does this slipstreaming of SP2 do? How will it affect my current system?

I am changing some of the html for some of the pages on the site at the moment. I will get the links corrected and new "Download" page uploaded within 15 minutes of posting this. Sorry, I'm still in the process of finding all the things I still need change.

OK, I didn't realize that the redirects would effect everything. Luckily the AutoStreamer programs are small so I uploaded them to the new site. The project is not yet uploaded to it though. So everyone will need to use the mirrors to download the project.

Slipstreaming (integrating) a service pack does not do anything to your current OS, it only integrates a SP into a Windows installation CD, meaning that if you have a Windows installation CD, such as XP that doesn't have any SP on it, then slipstreaming SP2 into it will give you a new CD that is Windows XP SP2. Thus, whenever you do a new installation with that CD instead of the old one, you don't have to download the huge SP2 update (or any previous patches), it's already integrated into the system/CD. For this project (and BartPE), a Windows XP SP1 or higher CD is required. smile.gif I hope that helps. Autostreamer is the best program to use for this. smile.gif

Thanks guys. It took a while before I got around to it, but I finally download AutoStreamer and I'm intergrating SP2 as I type. There is one more question, if I may - Can I intergrate updates to the ISO image? What I mean is, if I download M$ XP SP2 updates how can I intergrate them into the ISO image I'm creating so the instalation CD is (more) "up to date"?

Are you wanting to put the monthly critical updates onto the CD as well, so that they get installed when XP installs?

This can be done, but it the only site I know we can't mention because the guy who runs it is a bit of a idiot and Steel's had problems with him.

If this is what you want to do send me a PM and I'll send you the site details.
