Hello all. I can't remember if someone else has already mentioned this, but after just visiting the driverpacks.net site again, I saw that they have finally created a basic tutorial for getting their driverpacks to work with the UBCD4Win or a vanilla BartPE. You can find the info At This Link. smile.gif

Hi, this may not be the right forum for my question. I downloaded and successfully built the UBCD4Windows disk using a Win XP Pro disk. I used it to boot up my Toshiba and clear out a great many viruses that had infected my system but I still can't get it to boot. I think I need to reinstall the drivers for my Toshiba Satellite M55-S3314 that are missing when I use the system tool, including the video drivers. I don't seem to be able to download them and install them; I get errors. How do I reinstall drivers on my system using the UBCD4Windows disk?

As far as I know, you can't. The UBCD4Win is NOT a full OS, but only a subset that is used to help recover systems or run diagnostics. I don't any driver installation programs will work as you aren't loading the Windows that's on your HD, but that's on the CD. Best bet would to probably post any startup errors you get (or give a better description of "it doesn't boot") and then maybe we can help. smile.gif

well, nice tut on http://users.pandora.be/jtdoom/basetute/Ba...PE_HelpFile.htm , but it should be modified on following section "SlipStream" , the BASE asks you to make some decision "YES to delete, or NO to keep" .. <- this should be clarified proper cause only this was said in tut :

Figure 2

Click on 'Slipstream!'
That's it your done creating your Mass Storage plugin.

...

i just said yes twice , and it seems it worked proper for me .

thanks anyway , i searched long time for such a tut .. ;9
