Hi, first of all as is my first post really nice work in general with. I tested the original backtrack2 pluging from the site and works like a charm. I did have issues however with the new backtrack 3 release on boot and wondered if anyone could update or release a updated backtrack3 plugin as is a popular set of tools and bt3 has some nice improvements that am dying to include on my build.

Any help Appreciated

I also changed some entries in the files \boot\isolinux\isolinux.cfg and \boot\syslinux\syslinux.cfg
replace the instances of vmlinuz to backtrack and initrd.gz to backtrack.gz
do it in BOTH files.
Then I also changed the \BCDW\backtrack.ini entry in backtrack_bcdw.ini to \BCDW\BACKTRACK.INI
do not know if upper/lower case matters but now my BackTrack starts laugh.gif

in backtrack.ini change: ramdisk_size=4444 to: ramdisk_size=6666

If poss can ya explain what you mean by

I also changed some entries in the files \boot\isolinux\isolinux.cfg and \boot\syslinux\syslinux.cfg
replace the instances of vmlinuz to backtrack and initrd.gz to backtrack.gz
do it in BOTH files.
Then I also changed the \BCDW\backtrack.ini entry in backtrack_bcdw.ini to \BCDW\BACKTRACK.INI
do not know if upper/lower case matters but now my BackTrack starts

Eg i looked in the isolinux.cfg and see vmlinuz mention but not sure if ya want me to change that to backtrack?

Confused.

Yes, I do mean that because if you have a look in the backtrack.inf you will see:

[SourceDisksFiles]
files\boot\vmlinuz=a,backtrack,1
files\boot\initrd.gz=a,backtrack.gz,1
files\boot\isolinux\isolinux.bin=a,,1
backtrack.ini=c,,1

vmlinuz is renamed to backtrack and:
initrd.gz is renamed to backtrack.gz
