ok that worked but the setup looks different and I am a little confused. I found a help file DPs_BartPE_HelpFile.htm with instructions but I need a little assistance. Thanks
Once in config, go to the "Updates" section and check the driverpacks you would like to integrate.
Currently supported: Graphics, LAN, Mass Storage, WLAN.
Download those packs, once they're all done updating it'll show "up-to-date" for the packs. After that, go to "Driverpacks" and choose those options, and in "Location" choose your Plugins directory in the UBCD4Win folder. After that, click slipstream, and then once that's done the config tool will exit, your plugins will refresh, and show plugins for your driver sets.

For it to TRULY be a case of the cat chasing it's own tail, your post should have linked to the post previous to yours...

Been sidetracked for a while. Among other things a tornado touched down (does that qualify as off-topic?) about 200 yds. from my house.
But all is well now, so I am back (please hold applause). Getting ready to try the 3.5 now.

Always read the FAQ's and tutorials and browse the forums BEFORE you post a question.
If you get an answer that works, say so. Post a thank-you to the individual who helped.
You know it's time for a new computer when yours says,"I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
BTW..It will probably be a Dell.............running Vista.

Great work on finally getting most of the BTS drivers working!
Great job and thank you!

You guys spend a lot of time trying to sort out other people's problems. For that, I thank you.
Point of reference:
I was an administrator of a site with almost 400,000 members. What site doesn't matter, but the fact that we selected volunteers to assist members, and made them moderators does. Generally an admin has enough work to do with the rules, regulations, cost controls, site problems, and income sourcing that they have little time for one-on-one contact with members. It is the business of providing a service. Fortunately for me, the owner did most of the site maintenance, and dealt with the behind the scenes problems, allowing me the luxury of policing the attitudes, and responses of not only the members, but the moderators, and answering 25000 questions in a 2.5 year period, along with hundreds of drawings (picturebook type, because most couldn't read a real schematic drawing).
When you donate your time and answer the same question 100 times it can get irritating as well as give you the perception that no one ever uses the search function. We tend to form opinions, some justified, some not. At times the responses can be sharp, have a holy than thou perception, garbled with techno-speak that only another person in that field can understand, be it intentional or not. If you treated everyone like your 6 year old child in regards to an explanation, most of the replies would be a thank you, and not "what does that mean?" Sometimes you just have to step back and ask yourself,"Why am I here, and what can I do to make the answer simplistic enough so my 6 year old could perform the action needed?" The more contact with an individual, the more you sense his/her skill level, and the more prevalent a technical colloquialism will suffice.
When you specialize in a science that is open to the general public with the same interest as you have (a working product, service, assistance, or goal) for whatever their reasons, one must keep in mind that all members don't speak the scientific language that you are comfortable with on a daily basis, have the same skill sets, but they have the same desire or goal; a working "whatever."
Would you tell your computer illiterate wife to burn an ISO file, or would you give her a step by step sequence that she could follow and be successful? For those married to IT professional women, substitute "rebuilding a lawn-mower", or fixing a good meal without using a microwave.
I have spent about 100 hours reading hundreds of threads on this site and others to resolve an issue. Many have tried to use the search function with little or no results because they don't know what magic word or words will result in an understandable explanation. Many of the search results go back to old out-dated information, if followed will lead to the same results---nothing fixed. Many people try to find their solutions without posting, but have little success because the question wasn't phrased properly. Many people are afraid to voice their concerns when given advice that is totally foreign to them, for fear of some verbal attack or being the butt of a "today's joke."
I have no such fears, and when I read, "Let them use the search function" (probably a joke), it brought back some memories of what I had to remind my moderators, "These people are sinking in an ocean without a life-preserver, and they came here for a helping hand, not more stress in their lives."
Again, thanks for what you are trying to do, and the many successes you have achieved.

Once in config, go to the "Updates" section and check the driverpacks you would like to integrate.

Download those packs, once they're all done updating it'll show "up-to-date" for the packs. After that, click slipstream, and then once that's done the config tool will exit, your plugins will refresh, and show plugins for your driver sets.
I followed the directions here and none of the updates work. It says they are available but when I try them it says that they arent. I was able to manually download the LAN and MASS Storage and drop them in. They now show up to date but I cannot get the BASE package to update. The error says "DPs_BASE_1006.exe is currently unavailable". I have uninstalled and deleted the directory (UBCD4WIN) and started over but I still get the same message. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
