Hi
New to this procedure.
I inserted my windows xp sp2 disc, changed the view settings and copied the files across to my C drive in folder 'XPCD'.
I then ran the UBCD builder, specifying the correct path for the source files, however when I then run through the installation (to make a bootable cd) it seems to run through fine until here;
Build ISO Image
Run External program
C:\UBCD\winmkisofs.exe etc etc etc etc...
Incorrect function.
Incorrect function. (x10)
Check for different bootloaders;
Incorrect function.
it then proceeds to say;
Build ISO image done.
etc..
Starting file analyse
Image size: 0bytes.
Can anyone help? What have I done wrong?
Thanks

I am running on windows 8.. But yeah already run as administrator..
As cdob mentioned.. Building on Win8 is a complete unknown and is likely to not be possible without first making a virtual machine running XP... UAC can't even be disabled without editing the registry and still it is locked down more than any version of Windows before...
The steps to disable UAC begin with a visit in the User Accounts area of the Control Panel and setting the UAC settings to the lowest setting then run REGEDIT and change the following setting...
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
In the right pane look for EnableLUA and modify its value to 0. Close regedit.
Restart after that change...
If you are able to build then... please let us know. If not, the only other option is as mentioned, building within a virtual machine.
