Has anyone tried doing a LightScribe version of the label? I'd love to see something like that.
I use Lightscribe all the time for several things. Though it probably doesn't look as good as it could be (like a Lightscribe-specific label would), you can always lightscribe any one of the designs in this thread on a CD/DVD as long as it's just a standard image and it will do it's best with that color image. You could even use an image editor and greyscale the image first if you were worried about what it might look like. -
In Topic: New UBCD4Win Net Drivers 2.05!
Posted 4 Sep 2009
I'm sorry, but the drivers I made here are very outdated and pre-DriverPacks.net. The UBCD4Win now uses the drivers from the BTS Driver Packs at driverpacks.net which have nothing to do with the custom pack I created long ago. Thus this list is pretty much obsolete and you should check out the list at the website I mentioned to see if they have what you need. Otherwise, I'm sure someone here can help you get your device working.
Thanks. -
In Topic: ISO Too Big for CD

I, too, had this problem. The builder is making ISO's that are too large to fit on a CD. Nero won't burn the ISO to a DVD as it thinks the ISO is meant for a CD.
Is there a way to tell mkisofs to make a DVD-style ISO instead?
Sure it does, I use Nero all the time and have burned plenty of DVDs and BluRays from ISO files. How are you trying to burn the image?

In Topic: Cleanup Tools menu items not appearing
Posted 15 May 2009
Just curious, and me being more nit-picky than anything, but why not gray-out the menu items for these tools that are Windows-only like you do with others than just make them not appear entirely? Thanks for the heads-up though! -
