Hey, stidyup, do you want me to just give you some FTP space on my site in which you can provide direct links here to use instead of all of this rapidshare/megaupload crap? Would be easier on the users and I don't mind, especially for these smaller files.

This offer also goes for any other mod/developer in the forums. Maybe I can create folders for each of you with your own FTP accounts and then you can post these things/files with direct links as much as you need.

I believe you will need to use the call statement so that when finished it can return to the updater to finish any not complete yet.

Stidy will know more about it since this is his code, but I think I'm correct.

Can you stretch to about 1mb of webspace to host the files???? If you can host them that will be great.

You should really use the forum search before posting your questions... many that you have asked recently already have answers. In this case you would have probably found this post http://www.ubcd4win....=...ost&p=35545 which has an update for that very plugin.

my query is how can i update the virus definition files of the basic version of ubcd? and please forgive me if i'm in the wrong forum. am truly new in this my friend just told me about ubcd and i think this program is great especially it consist of lots and lots of utilities. i still haven't burn the iso file coz' am not sure if the anti-virus definition files are up to date or does it have an anti-virus? hoping for some consideration with my query. thanks in advance. and also please guide me on how to update the virus definitions files before i burn the iso file.

Stidyup, i found a couple of errors on ubcd4winupdater.bat regarding the same question.

updating xblocker: it stills reads "updater" and not "UBCDUpdater"

updating adaware: second line reads "UBCDUpdaterr" with double final r

Getting 404 error for adaware. Checked the lavasoft site found new link to the def files.http://download.lava...public/defs.zip

edited the plugin updater with:

I know I need to update this file but finding time at the minute is a bit difficult, I'll try and find sometime next week to update this, hopefully it shouldn't take too long with fixes posted.
