I had previously tried the Helix plugin and things built fine and when I booted, it started to bootup ok, but then eventually gave a message that it couldn't find system files and stopped. Has anyone else tried this plugin and ran into a similiar problem? I had posted in the original thread about this but I assume nobody else had tried it yet which is why there was no reply.

I haven't had a chance to test yet, sorry. Hopefully someone else will respond about that.

Anyway, I've now just pinned and renamed this topic to be more appropriate. If you, Ben, or anyone doesn't want this, then that's fine, but I think it will help, especially if it's updated enough. :-)

I don't mind having this topic pinned.

Hopefully someone else can try the Helix plugin for the multiboot and post their results. I'd be interested in hearing how it works since I couldn't get it to work. I burned the Helix ISO image to a CD and it boots fine, but when I integrate it into the multiboot process using the plugin, it would only boot so far before displaying that error about system files.

For those of us that use Acronis True Image or other Acronis Products,Mustang has several flavors of plugins that work with UBCD4WIN at Mustang's Plugins.

Acronis (True Image at least) creates it's own plugin for you when you create a recovery CD I believe. At least I know I created one that way (or a similar way) with Acronis True Image 9 that I have at home. :)

just wanted to prepare the ubcd4win with TrueImage plug-in, using Mustang's plug-in patch for Workstation (TrueImageCorporateWorkstation9_3625_up.zip) and executed AutoHelp.cmd in the plug-in-dir, but it reported it couldn't find TrueImage's serial# in registry, only the one for Universal Restore. If watching at the serial# for Universal Restore it found in registry, the number differs from the original serial# for UR, it seems that it's a checksum or so, that has been included into TrueImageCW9.inf for UR.
How is it now possible to include my serial# for TI into that inf ?
The Serial# for TI has been given to the System through the 'True Image License Server' app, not directly while installation process of TI. While it was different with UR, so that the number has to be typed in while installation process.

If your installation is not in the default location this may cause an issue like this. Mustang is not actively supporting his plugins right now but you may get a response from him over here http://www.wildersse...isplay.php?f=65. Also make sure you have downloaded his latest version from the the website Mustang's BartPE Plugins. I use his plugin with TI9 Home and it works fine. I believe all his plugins recognize whether you are installing it in UBCD4WIN or Reatgo or vanilla BartPE.

I used to have it installed it in the default location.
The problem with not finding the serial for TI Workstation is that Acronis changed something in the newest release of TI Workstation, so that Mustang's plugin-patches won't find the serial in the registry and the serial(s) are managed by an extra app called 'Acronis License Server'.
Even I found the actual location of the serial and copy/paste it in the mustang's inf and made a new boot disc the booted BartPE-TrueImage won't start, by telling it has not found the serial. I think this needs more effort of research I'm able to give at the moment, but I will continue and test more, because this would be a great benefit of having this thing working without having to be connected to the LAN.

I need to get some updates and new additions to this section and my website. Which plugins listed in this forum area (or new ones you may know of) are completely working with the UBCD4Win and whatnot? Please list them here for me. Thanks.
