Driver for Realtek AC`97 and ATI 9000 Sound and Video driver problem

    Thank you for this wonderful application.
    My configuration: MB: Gigabyte 7VAXP Ultra, CPU: Athlon XP 2400 (2GHz), Video card: ATI 9000 (128MB), HDD: Western Digital 120GB SATA with 4 partition NTFS, Sound card: Realtek AC`97 (on board), Net card: Realtek RTL8139 + Wireless USB Net Adapter: Trendnet 424UB (SiS163u), DVD: LG (HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA 4163B), Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster 757DFX, mouse & keyboard A4Tech PS2.
    Almost software works for me. But sound and video acceleration (no driver?!) did not work...
    I try to install driver with "update driver"... but no success wink.gif
    Why? I try many distribution Linux (Fedora, Mandrake, Knoppix, DSL etc...) but I have sound... with video acceleration is a problem I know wink.gif
    What is the method for install video driver (ATI 9000) and sound driver (Realtek AC`97). Please help me!
    I know: UBCD4Win is a software for recovery and... but how test the soundcard? Excuze my english...

      There are no sound drivers included by default because, as you mentioned, this is a recovery CD by heart. As for video, I would think it would work for your card, so I'm not sure why you can't change the resolution and whatnot. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the subject. smile.gif
