In Windows Explorer, enter %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox, to get to the currently logged in user's profile (assuming 1.04). You'll find cache files if you enter deeper into the profile folders.

    Look for "Application Data folder"

Locate your Application Data folder, this is usually under Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data. You may need to make hidden files visible in Windows Explorer, since the Application Data folder is hidden. If your username is "Joe", and your Documents and Settings folder is on C:\, your profile folder is here: C:\Documents and Settings\Joe\Application Data\Phoenix. Delete the Phoenix folder to remove your profile data.

Look for "Profile Folder" on each of these pages.

You might use this information for cleaning Thunderbird....

JERRY: Before we go any further, I'd just like to point out how disturbing it is that you equate eating a block of cheese with some sort of bachelor paradise. Seinfeld

        Glad to help.

This may be real obvious to you since I may have reminded you, or jogged your memory, but the "%AppData%" thing relates to most applications. Most any 32 bit app from Win98 up will install user specific information related to the app in the application data folder.

So, there just may be more apps you can "clean", based on the %AppData% suggestion. B)
